“The Sunflower Guardian”Gouache ShinHan Art and gold paint on Fabriano (Italy) art paper.

Through this work, I wanted to represent our fragile but precious ability to seek light even in difficult times.
The fox, a symbol of instinct, gentleness, and resilience, gazes at the sunflowers turned towards the sun, while the little boy silently observes the landscape. Together, they embody the importance of slowing down, breathing, and appreciating simple things: the late afternoon light, a flower, a calming presence, a moment of peace.

The golden details bring an almost dreamlike dimension to the scene, as if happy memories continue to shine despite the passage of time.

This painting is an invitation to keep one's heart turned towards the light.
