Inspired by traditional Korean minhwa, this original artwork reinterprets the iconic pairing of the tiger and magpie through a contemporary Moon Jar composition.

The tiger embodies strength and protection, while the magpie, traditionally associated with good news and good fortune, brings a sense of movement and lightness to the scene. A luminous golden moon and delicate bamboo complete the composition, blending traditional Korean symbolism with my own artistic vision.

The artwork is created with acrylic paint and high-quality French iridescent paint, giving the Moon Jar subtle reflections that shift with the light. Gold powder is applied by hand to highlight selected details and add depth and luminosity.
