Part of my Totem Animals Collection, Rabbit Moon draws inspiration from the deep connection between the rabbit and the moon in Asian mythology. A symbol of intuition, gentleness, renewal and longevity, the moon rabbit embodies a quiet strength that continues to shine through change.

The textured background incorporates natural sand collected in France, blended with golden paint to create relief and luminous reflections. The warm sienna-toned gesso and delicate gold effects give the composition a mysterious, dreamlike atmosphere.

Painted on a round canvas, the artwork echoes the shape and cycles of the moon. It can be displayed individually or paired with Cat Moon to create a complementary collector’s set.
