In this work, I wanted to capture the essence of the strength and wisdom that the snake represents in many cultures, particularly during the Lunar New Year. Using mixed media, I played with abstraction and realism to bring this coiled, vibrant, and almost tactile creature to life. The use of felt accentuates the distinct texture of the snake's skin, inviting deep contemplation and renewed reverence. for this symbol of rebirth and insight. My work aspires to be an energizing and contemplative addition to any living space.
